Yes, we're open our usual hours to care for your pets. As of 1st June 2020 we have relaxed some the measures we introduced to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
To comply with social distancing guidelines we are only allowing two clients into the clinic at a time. The front door will be routinely locked so we can manage the number of people in the clinic. We may request you wait outside or in your car until we are able to admit you. There may be times when we need to to do some consultations in the carpark or over the phone and then examine your pet in the clinic. It would be appreciated if only one owner accompanies their pet into the clinic so we can operate at maximum capacity.
Our routine services including grooming have resumed but there may be reduced capacity at times. There may be a considerable wait for walk-in appointments so we strongly recommend booking ahead by calling 9484 3004. Of course emergency cases will be seen straight away by a staff member and the level of emergency assessed. Housecalls are limited and on a case by case basis.
We would still recommend ordering food and medication in advance and paying with a credit card over the phone. This will minimise delays if we already have two clients in the clinic. A staff member can bring the items to your car as soon as they are available.
DO NOT VISIT THE CLINIC IF:
- You have cold or flu symptoms
- You have been in contact with someone who possibly has COVID-19
- You have been overseas in the last 14 days
- You are in self isolation
If you are in the above category and your pet needs veterinary attention please call us and we discuss your situation and formulate a management plan.
For the safety of your pet as well as other animals and clients, please ensure dogs are well controlled on a lead and cats are secured in a suitable carrier. We are able to loan leads and carriers if required. If you have any concerns about your pet visiting the clinic then please discuss these at the time of booking.
Outside of our opening hours we refer patients to either of the two emergency centres listed below.
