Yes, we're open our usual hours to care for your pets. However, as of 25th March 2020 we have instituted several operational changes to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
We will continue to provide veterinary care to your pets. However, non-essential services will temporarily cease and our staffing levels are being being reduced. Staff are working in teams which do not interact except by telephone. We will be unable to offer grooming, nail clipping or housecall services for the time being.
Our front door is now closed and locked. We will only be seeing patients by appointment. If your pet needs urgent veterinary treatment call us on 9484 3004. We will attend and assess your pet as quickly as possible.
We have moved to non-contact consulting. If your pet needs veterinary attention call us on 9484 3004 to make a booking. We will send a text message to confirm your booking. Please contact us on arrival in the carpark and we will attend to you as soon as possible. Please stay in your car. Once your pet has been taken in to the clinic, the veterinarian treating your pet will contact you. We strongly recommend payment be made with a credit card over the phone but will still accept EFTPOS and cash payments.
Food and medication can be ordered over the phone. We will text or call you when the items are ready to collect. Once you have paid for the items and notified us of your arrival the items can be brought out to your car.
DO NOT VISIT THE CLINIC IF:
- You have cold or flu symptoms
- You have been in contact with someone who possibly has COVID-19
- You have been overseas in the last 14 days
- You are in self isolation
If you are in the above category and your pet needs veterinary attention please call us and we discuss your situation and formulate a management plan.
For the safety of your pet as well as other animals and clients, please ensure dogs are well controlled on a lead and cats are secured in a suitable carrier. We are able to loan leads and carriers if required. If you have any concerns about your pet visiting the clinic then please discuss these at the time of booking.
Outside of our opening hours we refer patients to either of the two emergency centres listed below.
